Dr. Kate Levinson is the author of Emotional Currency: A Woman’s Guide to Building a Healthy Relationship with Money. Her book and workshops provide an alternative understanding and approach to our relationship with money through including the psychological, spiritual, symbolic and political natures of money.
Kate regularly offers Emotional Currency™ Workshops virtually as well as in the San Francisco Bay Area and occasionally in other cities, including Chicago, Portland, Seattle, Santa Fe and Minneapolis. A licensed marriage and family therapist, she consults with individuals, couples, and groups to untangle their relationship with money in her offices in San Rafael and Point Reyes Station, CA, and virtually.

Kate resides in West Marin, on the coast north of San Francisco, where she and her husband owned and operated Point Reyes Books. She is the co-founder of Black Mountain Circle, a non-profit offering events at the confluence of story, nature and spirit.
