Master Faye Li Yip
Tai Chi and Qigong Teacher, Martial Artist & Taoism Practitioner

Born in China to a traditional martial arts family, Master Faye Li Yip is a passionate practitioner, performer, and professional teacher of Tai Chi, Qigong, and Chinese martial arts, with over 40 years of training experience. Master Faye is a co-author of the popular books Wudang Tai Chi Sword and Tai Chi Kungfu Fan. After moving to the UK, with the help and support of her husband Tary, she set up both the Deyin Taijiquan Institute and the British Health Qigong Association. She has worked tirelessly to raise awareness of both physical and mental wellbeing through the arts of Tai Chi and Qigong.

Over 20,000 British and European students from all walks of life have benefited from her teaching. She has produced several instructional DVDs and online courses for all the forms she teaches, and has more than 15,000 subscribers on YouTube, in order to allow those who are unable to attend classes to experience their benefits. She is a regular speaker at international Tai Chi, Qigong, and integrated medicine forums.

Master​ Faye has led students in many large-scale performances, including the Queen’s diamond and platinum jubilee celebrations, the Tai Chi & Qigong performance to count down the 2012 London Olympics, and live performances during the English Football League (EFL) championships. She has been invited to teach Tai Chi at numerous prestigious events such as the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting of the new champions, and at the presidential palace of Ireland at the invitation of His Excellency President Higgins and the First Lady. Master​ Faye successfully organized and hosted a number of high-profile events such as the European Health Qigong Games and Scientific Symposium.
